Are you keen on museums and nature? This is a wonderful opportunity to discover lovely gardens and unique world-renowned art collections

Our expert guide will take you to the most important museum in the city, the National Art Museum of Catalonia (MNAC), to discover the gorgeous Romanesque frescoes that used to adorn the walls of ancient churches in the Pyrenees Mountains. Amazing ancient paintings with Biblical depictions that transmitted Christian values to the Catalan peasants of the 11th and 12th centuries.

Take a break in beautiful natural surroundings and explore the gardens, depending on the season, such as the aquatic plant ponds or the Laribal gardens. Then drive to the most international museum on Montjuic Hill: the Miró Foundation. Joan Miró, one of the three Spanish geniuses of the 20th century, together with Picasso and Dalí, designed his own museum and donated his whole art collection to it. Our expert guide will point out Miro’s best art works so you can see how he evolved from his early days through to his artistic peak. The views from the museum are stunning, and the building itself, a treasure.
